There are upcoming items that we accept pre-order. Pre-ordering means securing your spot.
Pre-order successfully after placing an agreed deposit. By telling shop to keep without a deposit shows no commitment to purchase and thus, it is not a successful pre-order yet.
The deposit won't be refunded if customer changes their mind.
What happens if I wait to buy in-stock items, rather than pre-ordering?
Shop speculates popularity of each games and buy the amount we think customers will need. For example, there are games that we buy 200 discs, and for this case, there is no need to worry if you do not pre-order. We will have plenty of stock for both pre-orders and walk-in customers. However, there are also games that we don't think it will sell well. Thus, we only bring 3. In this case, pre-order is best for you if you really need it. Or else, there is a risk of not getting the game you want. You will never know how many shop has ordered.
Thus, it is best to pre-order if you need. Please strictly follow our Pre-Order Cut Off Date, late pre-order might not be accommodated.
There are also times that we decide last minute not to bring because no one has pre-ordered the item we list until pre-order cut off date. This means zero chance for you to walk-in and purchase because it will not come as our advertised. If you deposit successfully, that means your pre-order will come.
There are occasions that we discount on pre-order product and this would be beneficial.
How to Pre-Order Items on our Website:
A product that has not reached Release date yet, we allow customers to Pre-Order with a a small deposit amount or deposit in full. No reservation unless with made deposit.
Pre-Order items comes with tag "Pre-Order" and has Pre-Order button.
Pre-Order item has an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) information and Release date information. Please pay attention since a Release Date is not an ETA.
After making a deposit, when it is close to ETA, our website will alert the customer to make the remaining payment. You can choose to pay the rest on website, it will update your order status and we will ship out once arrived.
When the product arrives, we will use the contact info provided on web site for shipping purpose.

All Pre-order bonus is subject to availability. For example, if there is a freebie coming along with a game disc, we provide the freebie as long as it is available. We do not owe customers freebie once out of stock.
The price of the not-yet-released items sometimes changes between the time the item is listed for sale and the time it is released and/or shipped. When we display "Pre-Order Price Guarantee" message on the product detail page, the price we charge when we ship it to you will be the lowest price offered between the time you placed your order and the end of the day of the release date.
Deposit refund is only eligible for non-fulfillment; and NOT eligible for change of mind. For example, there is an estimated arrival date/delivery date, but it turns out to be delayed; thus, customers might decide for a refund.
Full payment of pre-order refund is ONLY eligible for non-fulfillment, and partial refund is eligible for change of mind with a processing fee to be incurred.
The customer usually receives a notification on the website to make the remaining payment within +/- a day of the arrival date, if a balance payment is not made, the deposit is non-refundable.
Shipping notifications may be sent either by the customer's vortexgame.store account, phone call, text message, and/or email by our team.
Game/Product releases at the estimated release date may be subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The company keeps pre-orders with full payment until the customer informs when to ship/to be collected. However, it shall not pass one month.
The deposit payment for a pre-order shall be forfeited if:
The pre-order is not collected within 1 month after being informed of its arrival.
The balance payment is not made upon the stated period or time frame (+/- week)
The customer opts for a change of mind to not purchase/pre-order the product

There are two types of Digital Codes. First, it is in the form of voucher card which a customer can purchase while shopping in-store. It can be either delivered by courier companies or an admin scratching the card and tell the digits to customers.
Second, it is in the form of digits, which can be sent electronically. Below is more about Digital code digits.
Purchasing a Digital Code is an instant delivery to your vortexgame.store account. Thus, you don't have to fill in a delivery address. Instead, tick "Pick up in-store", so that you save time from filling in any delivery information. And no, you don't literally come to pick up the code in store. Read more below.
After purchasing, you can access the item in My Order, and click Redeem to reveal the digital code, use the digits to top up your account.

You can guest checkout or sign in to your account before checkout. However, if you guest checkout, make sure you don't refresh, please wait for a msg that shows the order is complete after scanning KHQR, do not close the tab, it will take you back and you will see your order.

The problem can be avoided by signing up and signing in before purchasing so that you won't face such a problem about closing tab.

Company will have the right to put an order in suspended status without prior notice and fulfillment will be arranged, subject to availability.
Pre-orders refer to deposited product. If a customer informs shop that they are interested in a product and verbally tell to inform/keep when the item arrives, there is no commitment or liability from both buyer and Vortex. We will try our best to inform the customers if the item is still available for instant purchase, without pre-orders, when it arrives.
Backorder Terms & Conditions
This Backorder tag status means that we do not have stock, but we have ordered more from our suppliers. Backorder if you would like to get the item too, since we may only get enough to cover existing orders. Backorder items generally have an Estimated Time of Arrival. You may confirm with the ETA whether you can wait and then decide.
Not all products can be backordered. It totally depends on the demand. There are also items that we decide not to restock anymore due to slow sale.
There are also products that become unavailable for a long time although we know that new stock will be available at some point in the future. This case, it depends on manufacturers whether they have released more. That is why we allow customers to "Backorder" as we are sure we could restock and is already making its way to our shop. We strongly recommend that customers go ahead and backorder for items to secure their unit.
